Women In Tech Quarterly Breakfast

This quarter’s breakfast will feature a conversation with Martha Lester Harris.  Martha is a serial entrepreneur who has spent a lifetime developing solutions to complicated problems in both private industry and government. She is currently the Founder and President/CEO of Fizika.  But it’s not just Martha’s professional career that is impressive.  On Dec. 2, she’ll also share her struggles with finding balance between work and family, the choices she made and how those choices then led to unexpected opportunities.  Her story is one women in a variety of roles within tech can relate to and a journey we can all learn from.

About Martha Lester Harris:  Before founding Fizika, Martha Lester Harris founded EHR software company InnerLink, Inc., she served as COO of Pennsylvania’s Workforce Investment Board, and she served as Deputy Secretary of the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) in Governor Tom Ridge’s administration. Prior to joining the Ridge Administration, Martha served as Director of Economic Development for the Pittsburgh High Technology Council where she founded the Southwestern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center, the organization now known as Catalyst Connection. Martha earned a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a B.A. from Dickinson College. She is currently enrolled in a Master of Divinity program at Lancaster Theological Seminary.
