Join a stable, tenured IT team where you'll serve as the critical bridge between the technical team (developers, report analysts, etc) and business stakeholders. You'll translate business needs into technical solutions for custom payroll, finance, HR, and other internal systems. This is a relationship-driven role where you'll work directly with subject matter experts and functional leaders to gather requirements, lead testing efforts, and ensure smooth implementation of system enhancements. You'll be the go-to contact for new initiatives while helping maintain mission-critical enterprise systems.

You'll have dedicated time to learn systems alongside experienced team members, ensuring proper knowledge transfer. The team is going through an exciting re-development effort with meaningful new work ahead, giving you the chance to build relationships while making a real impact on enterprise systems.

 Responsibilities: 

• Meet with functional leads and SMEs to gather specifications and translate requirements to the development team
• Lead user testing efforts and serve as primary contact for system implementations
• Facilitate demos, schedule meetings, and coordinate between stakeholders and technical teams
• Document requirements and maintain system security/access
• Collaborate with DBAs and full-stack developers on system enhancements
• Navigate competing interests and recommend best solutions across departments

 Required:

• 2-5 years of Business Analysis experience
• Excellent communication skills – ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Strong personality fit: patient listener, relationship builder, detail-oriented
• Ability to work effectively with strong personalities and competing priorities

 Nice to Have:

• Software development background
• Experience with financial systems/processes
