Support Technician (Tier 1)

Location Requirement

This is an on-site position based in our Lancaster office. Candidates must be able to work in person daily; this role is not eligible for remote work. We encourage applications from candidates who live within commuting distance of Lancaster.

Responsibilities

• Respond to support requests by phone, resolving issues directly or routing them to the appropriate team member.
• Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
• Onboard new customer employees, ensuring their technology is ready to go on day one.
• Maintain and improve our internal knowledge base to streamline future troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with colleagues on network and server projects that go beyond individual scope.
• Document work thoroughly and consistently to support continuity and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting PCs, Macs, mobile devices, and related peripherals.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with basic networking troubleshooting.
• Associate's degree or equivalent practical experience; we prioritize demonstrated skill over formal credentials.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional after-hours or weekend work as needed.
