Summer may be winding down, but the connections across Central PA’s technology community certainly aren’t. More than 50 people gathered at Appalachian Brewing Company in Mechanicsburg on Thursday evening for TCCP’s September 2026 TechNet, sponsored by Accountabilities.

But this TechNet came with a question: What connection are you looking for tonight?

As attendees arrived, they were invited to add their name and company to TCCP’s new Connections Wanted board, choosing the reason that brought them to TechNet: looking for talent, clients, strategic partners, career opportunities, mentorship and advice, or something else entirely.

The sticky notes quickly started filling the board, giving everyone in the room a glimpse at not just who was there, but why they were there.

And then came the important part: using it.

Throughout the evening, attendees could check the board, spot someone looking for a connection that aligned with their own, and have a reason to start a conversation. It turned the usual networking question of “So, what do you do?” into something much more useful: “What are you looking for, and how can I help?”

That’s exactly what TechNet is designed to do.

TCCP’s networking mixers bring together professionals from across industries, organizations and career stages to build relationships, exchange ideas and create connections that can continue long after the event ends.
