Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming part of how we work and live, and with that growth comes an important conversation about how we use the technology responsibly.

TCCP was recently featured on WGAL News 8 as local technology leaders shared their perspectives on the growing use of AI and the importance of keeping people at the center of the conversation.

TCCP Board Members Josh Hinkle, President & CEO of Splashwire, and Sue Engels, Chief Client Officer at Momentum, Inc., spoke with WGAL about the opportunities AI presents, the importance of responsible use, and why organizations and individuals should be actively engaged in the conversation as the technology continues to evolve.

“AI is not something to be afraid of. Come and learn, right? We can learn from each other,” Engels told WGAL, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a human-centric approach and not allowing AI to replace critical thinking.

Hinkle highlighted how AI is already being used to streamline everyday work, while encouraging people to explore the technology rather than sit on the sidelines.

Creating Space for AI Conversations in Central PA

The WGAL report also highlighted TCCP’s AI Peer Learning Group, which brings technology professionals together to learn from one another, share experiences and discuss the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

The group reflects TCCP’s commitment to creating opportunities for our technology community to have meaningful conversations about emerging technologies, not simply about what AI can do, but how we can use it thoughtfully and effectively.

For TCCP, the conversation around AI is ultimately about people: helping our community understand the technology, learn together and navigate the opportunities and challenges it brings.
